🚜 A farm this diverse needed more than a website that simply listed animals.

Hills Heritage Farm is home to multiple livestock programs, heritage breeds, working dogs, poultry, bees, and a bigger mission centered around stewardship, preservation, and building something worth passing forward.

Hackflo built the website to bring all of that together under one clear, cohesive experience.

Every program has a place. The farm’s story is woven throughout the site. And visitors can quickly understand not only what Hills Heritage Farm raises, but why they raise it the way they do.

That’s the goal.

A complex business shouldn’t feel complicated online. Your website should make it easier for people to understand what you do, why it matters, and how to work with you.

That’s what Hackflo builds for.

The first milestone of Hackflo Giving Back is officially live.

I’m excited to announce the launch of the new website for Good Samaritan House of Laurel County.

This project is more than a website launch. Hackflo will be continuing to support Good Samaritan House through an ongoing partnership, donating time and digital support to help strengthen their online presence as their mission continues to grow.

Good Samaritan House is doing meaningful work right here in our community, helping men, women, and families move toward stability, independence, and hope.

This is exactly what I want Hackflo Giving Back to represent: using the skills and resources God has given me to support organizations that are already making a difference.

The website is live, but this is only the beginning.

There’s a big difference between simply building a website and taking someone’s vision, understanding where they want to go, and helping make that vision even stronger.

That was the goal with The Modern Hospitalist.

I’m grateful to Dr. Andrew Parks for trusting Hackflo with the website for his upcoming book and for taking the time to share this review. Projects like this are exactly why I love what I do: strong collaboration, clear communication, and a finished product that feels true to the client while exceeding what they originally imagined.

If you have a business, book, ministry, or idea that needs a professional home online, I’d love to help bring it to life.

A new digital home for The Modern Hospitalist.

We designed and developed the official website for Andrew Parks, MD, MBA, bringing the book, Dr. Parks’ story, and a clear path to preorder together in one place.

The goal was to create a site that felt as thoughtful and professional as the book itself, with a clean editorial look, strong typography, and a simple experience for readers.

Take a look at the finished site:

📜 Dare to be a Daniel.

What happens when the culture changes, the pressure rises, and compromise starts sounding like wisdom?

Daniel did not discover his convictions in the lions’ den. He carried into it what had already been settled in his heart years before.

Babylon changed. Kings changed. Laws changed.

Daniel didn’t.

For Christian business owners, the pressure may look different, but the question is still the same:

Will you stay faithful when compromise looks profitable?

Build with wisdom.
Lead with integrity.
Stay unmoved.

“His heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.”
Psalm 112:7

Eight goats gave birth. New breeding pairs were established. Kids became available. Pedigrees changed. And the website had to keep up with all of it.

That’s the thing about building a website for a working farm. You’re not building for what the business looks like on launch day. You’re building for what happens next.

For A&A Rolling Acres, that meant creating a site that could grow with the herd. Nearly 50 pages now organize individual goats, pedigrees, health information, breeding pairs and available kids. Pedigrees connect directly to the ADGA database, and Becky can update the freshening board herself when kidding season gets busy.

She can even use the site to tell the stories behind the farm, from hay season and storm prep to the everyday work buyers never see.

A website shouldn’t force a business into a template. It should fit the way the business actually works.

That’s what we built for A&A Rolling Acres.

Posting regularly is one thing. Knowing what to post, what is working, and when the strategy needs to change is another.

Hackflo handles the graphics, writing, planning, and ongoing adjustments that go into building a consistent social media presence. We examine the response, build on what connects, and change what does not.

No posting just to fill a calendar. Every piece of content should help people understand your business, remember it, and trust it.

A new website can feel like a major undertaking, especially when it needs to represent a company that has spent decades building its reputation.

Kay & Kay Contracting trusted Hackflo to turn their history, capabilities, and work into a website that clearly reflects who they are and the level of work they deliver.

I am grateful for Ashley’s words, but even more grateful for the trust their team placed in me throughout the process.

A website project should not leave a business owner confused or overwhelmed. It should be a guided, collaborative experience that ends with something they are proud to put their name on.

Thank you to the entire Kay & Kay Contracting team for allowing Hackflo to help tell your story.

Most businesses assume they need more website traffic.

But traffic cannot fix a website that confuses people once they arrive.

Within seconds, a visitor is quietly asking four questions:

Is it clear what this business does?
Does this company feel legitimate?
Does the website load quickly and work properly?
Is it obvious what I should do next?

That is the job of your website.

Not simply to look impressive, but to remove confusion, build trust, reduce friction, and help the right customer take the next step.

Swipe through the four signals that can determine whether someone stays or leaves.

Your website should work as hard as your business does.

“With one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon.”
Nehemiah 4:17

Business sometimes requires that same kind of fortitude. You build with faith, but you also protect what has been entrusted to you. You pray over the vision, guard your time, steward your finances, maintain your standards, and refuse to let every distraction pull you away from the work.
