Ed Buck — the convicted felon and disgraced former activist in West Hollywood and Los Angeles Democratic politics — is scheduled to go to trial in September in the wrongful death civil lawsuit brought by LaTisha Nixon, the mother of Gemmel Moore, who Buck was convicted of providing a fatal dose of methamphetamine.
