Long Grove is getting ready for a night of history, mystery, and plenty of spooky surprises. 👻

The Annual Ghost Walk returns October 23rd, with guided tours stepping off every 10 minutes from 6:00 to 8:50 PM. Expect witches, warlocks, ghosts, songs, scares, dancing, special effects, a hay ride, and a little local history along the way. 🧙

Tickets go on sale October 1st, and tours fill quickly. Make your reservations early and get ready for a memorable night in downtown Long Grove. 🎃

A championship season made even more meaningful by family. 🏆

Sean and Jeff Wimer have built an incredible water polo legacy at Stevenson, and this spring, both led their teams to IHSA state championships. For Sean, it marked his third state title in 20 seasons as head coach of the boys’ program, while Jeff celebrated his eighth in 33 seasons leading the girls’ program. 💦

Their achievement marks the second time the father and son have captured state championships in the same year, following their first championship double in 2017. ❤️

Wicked Woodland is back for its 4th year of spooky outdoor fun at Reed Turner Woodland! 🧟

On October 3rd, the Long Grove Park District is bringing together nature, Halloween magic, and plenty of family-friendly thrills for one unforgettable evening. 🎃

Explore haunted trails filled with ghouls, goblins, and witches, or enjoy Halloween-themed games and crafts inside the Nature Center. Returning favorites include s’mores by the fire, face painting, magical entertainment, and even more spooky surprises. 👻

Tickets are $5 per person and must be purchased in advance at lgparks.org. Choose from 4:00 PM, 5:30 PM, or 7:00 PM sessions, with only 25 families admitted per time slot. 🎟️

Costumes are highly encouraged, so gather the family, bring your spooky spirit, and reserve your spot early for one of Long Grove’s favorite fall traditions. 🙌
