Juneteenth vs. July 4th: Two Eras of Freedom and the War on America’s Story
The cultural architects are at it again, trying to turn our national calendar into an ideological battlefield. If you listen to the talking heads on television, they want you to believe you have to choose between the Fourth of July and Juneteenth—dismissing 1776 as an incomplete fraud while pushing permanent grievance. This is a false dichotomy designed to divide us. The truth is exactly the opposite: Juneteenth does not compete with the Fourth of July; it is the ultimate fulfillment of it. It represents the exact moment the promissory note of liberty written by the Founders finally caught up with reality on the ground. Without the unique constitutional machinery built in 1776, the moral and legal ground to abolish slavery in 1865 wouldn't even exist. We have one continuous narrative of human liberty bought with blood, and it is time to stop letting the radical Left hijack our history.
