It took a week, but the pool is full and the chemicals are balanced!!!! Can’t wait to finally swim 😍🙌

Our well handled this like a champ! Almost 6,000 gallons of water split up over a few days. So thankful we have the well and don’t have to worry about paying a water bill or the chemical water that the town has!!

As the sun sets on another weekend, it's time to tuck in the chickens, check the garden one last time, and be thankful for the simple blessings that fill our days.

Another late night trip to TS to try and save another bird. Idk about this one. I think it’s fly strike 😩😩 we bathed, cleaned and sprayed. I think Chris is going to have to cull though bc it’s pretty bad. I feel like s**t. I check them all the time and I didn’t notice this wound until tonight. I know they’re going to be dinner in a few weeks, but this is a crap way to go. We’ll see if it bounces back and how the wound looks tomorrow.

Every now and then I need to test my skills out and make sure I can still parallel park. I don’t like to and I usually go 5+ years between attempts… but I’m here to tell you, I still got it in me! 😂🙌 Anyone else avoid it like the plague?

And yes, lil red makes the job easy. 😅
