BBM WORST PRESIDENT IN PHILIPPINE HISTORY?
DDS blogger Grace Locsin expressed strong criticism of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., questioning what she described as the impact of the current administration on the lives of ordinary Filipinos.
In her statement, Locsin said a president should not be judged merely by speeches, slogans, public relations statements, or social media campaigns, but by the actual improvement in the lives of the Filipino people.
She cited concerns involving food, fuel and electricity prices, inflation, the value of the peso, alleged corruption controversies, flood-control projects, human rights concerns, and other issues facing the country.
Because of these concerns, Locsin questioned whether Marcos could be considered “the worst president in Philippine history.” She emphasized, however, that her remarks reflect her own views and assessment of the administration, while the evaluation of a president’s performance remains a subject of differing opinions and public debate. She said, “History will judge every president—not by speeches, slogans, PR statements, or social media campaigns—but by the upliftment of the lives of the Filipino people.”
