Hachiko was an Akita dog from Japan known for his incredible loyalty to his owner Professor Ueno. Every day, Hachiko would wait at the Shibuya train station for his owner to return from work. Even after Ueno passed away unexpectedly in 1925, Hachiko continued to wait at the station every day for nearly 10 years until his own death in 1935. His devotion touched the hearts of many and a statue was erected in his honor at Shibuya Station, symbolizing loyalty and love.

Killswitch Engage….this song always brings back crazy nostalgia. Reminds me of the times in middle school with my walkman, blasting the mix cd I burned with bands I discovered on Myspace. Of course pirated through Limewire lol if anyone remembers that then you most definitely destroyed the family PC. Early to mid 2000 era metalcore will always have a special place in my heart. It was one of my gateways to heavier genres. They don’t make music like this anymore.
