He made his TV debut in an episode of The Great Detective in 1979, and his first movie role in Running Brave (1983). A point guard, she played college basketball for the Virginia Cavaliers and spent eight seasons in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), primarily with the Charlotte Sting.
