I will be honest, if you want to see a considerable change in your body for summer, now would be a good time to start, because people massively overestimate how much body fat they can lose in a short space of time… especially without it being hell during the processFor you to achieve their goals and keep the results even after summer has been and gone, you’re gonna have to do something more enjoyable and sustainable than an overly restrictive summer shredz challengeThat being said having a time frame and something like a holiday to work towards can be a pretty good motivator to get the ball rollingHere’s 3 things you can start doing today if you want to feel and look better for summerGo for a walk, everyone underestimates how much of an impact just moving more has for fat loss and healthNo you don’t have to do workouts jumping around doing burpees By walking or just moving more you’ll increase the energy you use throughout the day, we call this NEAT, which burns around 10% more calories in total that the standard workouts you do in the gymEat more protein, I know there’s 100’s of gym bros going on about protein and they’re actually right for once. You don’t have to be a bodybuilder to benefit from eating more proteinIt keeps you fuller for longer which really helps if when you’re in a calorie deficit and it helps maintain and or gain muscle massIncrease your portion sizes of vegetables and fruitNot only are they packed with micronutrients but they take up a lot of space for far fewer calories compared to other foods. BONUSTrack your calories. Go to the link in my bio and use my free calorie calculator. Get your individualised calorie deficit and protein target. Create a calorie range with your calculated deficit in the middle ( 1600 = 1500-1700 cal range) Track your food and do your best to say in that range. Do that for 30 days and I guarantee you see results

Yes a predominantly whole food diet has more nutritional value and will make it far easier to manage your weight and be healthy It’s typically higher in protein Full of micro nutrients (vitamins and minerals) Higher in volumeLower in needless calories (less added fats/sugars) But this doesn’t mean you can include some of the delicious, processed and convenient foods out there.
