I always love all the great ideas I find here! I wanted to free up counter space so we could actually access the cabinet—anything sitting on the counter makes it impossible to open the door. I turned two broom/mop command hooks sideways, and they work perfectly for hanging the leashes!

My mother gave us this great idea on a recycling purpose for empty prescription bottles. Holds $10 worth of quarters for doing laundry while traveling in our camper. The lid holds them securely, they are compact and fits easily into your pocket or hand while going back and forth to the laundry house.

My first solo trip didn’t go as planned… but it changed me forever.
Well, the maiden voyage is done - and I’m covered in bruises and what’s probably a mild concussion!
Gracie (my cat who’s scared of everything) cried half the way. My truck driver daddy is probably up in heaven shaking his head saying, “what in Sam hell are you doing?”
Backing this rig up was a circus.
A sweet retired couple came over to help spot me, and like true Wisconsin folks, we ended up chatting for 10 minutes.
Then came the moment that broke me, in a good way.
A little 5-year-old girl asked her mom, “why is that lady having trouble?”
Her mom smiled and said, “because she’s brave enough to do it all by herself. Sometimes you have to do scary things and push through, just like she is.”
Pretty sure I cried right then.
When I finally parked and started setting up, another woman came over and said, “I respect you so much for doing this alone.”
That hit hard.
So yeah, I’m sore, banged up, and learning as I go…
but maybe courage doesn’t look perfect.
Maybe it looks like a woman in her driveway, bruised but determined -
and a little girl somewhere learning that she can do hard things too.
Here’s to the messy, brave firsts - the ones that remind us who we are.

I get asked all the time how I manage living in a 17ft trailer while working my nursing shifts 🤦‍♀️
And honestly… it’s not about the space.
It’s about what you do with it.
Some nights, it’s just me, a quiet cup of coffee, and a little corner that somehow feels like home.
It’s small, yes… but it’s mine.
And somewhere along the way, I realized I don’t actually need much to feel okay.
Tiny living didn’t shrink my life… it made room for the parts that matter 👊
Anyone else surprised by how little space you really need? v
