This easy steak dinner plate is pure best comfort food vibes—juicy, cheesy, and a weeknight dinner win you’ll crave again.

8 oz ribeye or sirloin steak, cut into large chunks

1 large russet potato

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tbsp butter

1 cup broccoli florets

2 tbsp olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt, to taste

Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste

Dried parsley or fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

🍽️ ** How to Make It :**

1️⃣ Bake the Perfect Potato

Scrub potato, pierce with a fork, rub lightly with olive oil and salt, then bake at 400°F (205°C) for 50–60 minutes until crispy outside and fluffy inside—this is a classic steakhouse side, easy comfort food, and best baked potato recipe.

3️⃣ Garlic Butter Finish

Ingredients 📝

2 small chicken breasts, sliced into strips 🍗

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp unsalted butter 🧈

3 garlic cloves, minced 🧄

Juice of 1 lemon 🍋

Zest of ½ lemon

100 ml (½ cup) heavy cream 🥛

1 tsp Dijon mustard

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped 🌿

Salt & black pepper, to taste

1 cup cooked basmati rice 🍚

1 medium potato, peeled and cubed 🥔

½ tbsp olive oil (for potatoes)

½ tsp paprika

½ cup steamed broccoli 🥦

Lemon wedges, for serving 🍋

Instructions 🔪

Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Toss potato cubes with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Roast for 20–25 minutes until golden.

Season chicken strips with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.

Add lemon juice, zest, and Dijon mustard, stir, and pour in cream. Simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened slightly.

Return chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over, and cook for 1–2 minutes to warm through.

Serve chicken with rice, roasted potatoes, steamed broccoli, and lemon wedges. Garnish with parsley.

Notes & Variations 🌟

Substitute cream with Greek yogurt for a tangier, lighter version.
