I spent 15 years climbing the corporate ladder to become a VP ā€” and then I realized I didnā€™t like the view so I traded a corporate title for cameras, corsets and a completely different life. I needed a life transformation, not just a career pivot. We all consume content but few creators talk about how they got there so I figured I would!
Iā€™ve always been an overachiever academically and professionally but really every ā€œaccomplishmentā€ was just masking a deeper unhappiness. I was beyond burnt out from the long weeks of office politics and drama, from taking my cell phone and laptop on every rare vacation and from a life completely consumed by my job. Even my mental and physical health was suffering, something had to change. A serendipitous opportunity gave me the confidence to quietly start building my side hustle. That side hustle grew faster than I couldā€™ve imagined, I found a unique blend that became my niche- sharing curves in a world re-obsessed with thinness and showing the many facets of femininity often blended with nature. Moving to the mountains was also intentional, you canā€™t bring to life wild femininity and untamed curves in a concrete jungle.
If youā€™re drowning in your corporate career, I hope this video helps. Making a big change isnā€™t easy, nothing worth it ever is, but itā€™s with enough perseverance, patience and resilience, itā€™s definitely possible. ā™„ļøšŸ’ŖšŸ»āœØ
