The monsoon(heavy rainy season,usually from November until March) in South Vietnam,definitely caused too much hardship on the US Armed Forces.
Light and heavy weapons,rusted quickly,causing heavy maintainent nightmares.
Grunts're also suffered foot infections and other illness,just for being out in the wet jungle 24 hours a day.
