Heart of the Beast is a story of survival, friendship, and love between a retired soldier named James and his dog Odin.
Truth time: This is not typically my the type of movie. š¬
I knew from the beginning that there would be parts that are hard to watch, that I would feel stressed, and ultimately that I would end up in tears.
And while all of that did in fact come to pass, what I didnāt expect was to be so inspired by a characterās sheer will to survive. Not only for himself, but for his best friend. The way these two needed each other and depended on each other was actually so beautiful to see.
Thatās whatās so cool about a Secret Screening. It pushed me to step outside my comfort zone and take a chance on a film I might not have otherwise given a second thought. Also I got to pet a dog. š„¹
Heart of the Beast stars Brad Pitt and hits theaters September 25th. Thanks so much to Paramount Pictures and TikTok Creators for having me!
