Errorgrid was founded out of a mental need: To allow people to connect with their artistic self and with other artists who do the same in order to foster and nurture communities that celebrate the human spirit.
But mental darkness is more prevalent than ever and part of the artist's journey. We can't sweep these stories under the rug but must face them with fervor and an open heart. Together.

This is why we are starting a series of YouTube videos focusing on important topics around art and mental health where artists speak up or chat together not to provide the ultimate answer but an angle that can inspire further conversations and self work.

You are not alone as long as you don't choose to be.

Episode one: BLAKMOTH and NUNDALE talk about INTEGRITY.

In our first episode focusing on mental health in the context of music and art in general, Blakmoth and Nundale chat about the relevance of integrity. What d...

How many beautiful half finished creations of personal truth yielding unknown musical and emotional potential are currently rotting on millions of hard drives across the world?

And how many more are withering in the depths of even more hearts?

Our duty is not to imitate what's already out there or find a better version of it, but to mine what's waiting inside of us to be heard. And that thing is sometimes closer than you might think..

OBERMAN KNOCKS - 'Khaptop Arc Phore' (ERR-045)

Errorgrid, who keep putting out darker sounds of the present future, opens UK-based Nigel Truswell's account under his Oberman Knocks moniker. Khaptop Arc Phore then takes the imprints theme a step further with a four-track blackened IDM flood of distilled soundscapes.

RAW ØBLATIONS 6 presents:
BROKEN CIRCUITS - Obscured Paths

"‘Obscured Paths’ offers a glimpse into roads untaken, unveiling experiments and ideas intended for an unreleased concept album. Notable for a stripped-down sound and devoid of guitars, these tracks were set aside as our 'Standing in Ruin' EP took form."

Sean Booth once touted OBERMAN KNOCK's music as making Autechre sound like 'a posh garden party.'
This release is no exception, but adds an almost soothing layer of emotionality to the many blankets of shards and stabbing knives.
In our opinion: Exceptional all around!

A darker sound of a present future

In times of confusion, noise and distraction many interesting voices get lost in the cracks and quality often suffers irreparable damage. We are here to give a platform to artists who want to openly express their less accessible art of dark electronic music and visual creativity and to foster an inspiring dialogue with an audience seeking the experiences that come from this encounter. We put the intention of our art first, the opportunities we can have in experiencing it second and the creation of it through tools and processes last.

Come ride with us.
