According to , “The 12-person jury deliberated for more than 25 hours over the course of four days.” for the verdict of Kyle Rittenhouse, now 18, accused of killing two people (Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26) and wounding another (Gaige Grosskreutz, now 27) during unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, followeing a white police officer's shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man, after a call to a domestic disturbance.

The 12-person jury acquitted Rittenhouse of first-degree intentional homicide and four other felony charges and has been found not guilty of all charges.

What’s your take on this? According to , there were more than 50,000 tickets sold for the November 5th weekend of Festival. However, what would transpire next would be known as an unfortunately tragedy. During the Astroworld festival, fans were said to be compressed and struggling because of the crowd surge. Police said that problems escalated quickly with multiple people passing out. “Many of the fans caught up in the deadly crowd surge are still traumatized and trying to process what they saw. Others had no idea anything was even wrong.” At a news conference Saturday morning, 25 people were rushed to local hospitals and more than 300 were treated at the festival.

On a lighter note, it looks like the army can celebrate with pure joy as after more than a decade of having almost no control over her personal and professional life, is finally a ! According to , an LA judge ended her , which for the past 13 years has allowed Spears’s dad, Jamie, and other parties to make decisions about whom she sees, what medication she takes, and how her money is spent. What’s your take on this? According to , during a Thursday rehearsal for the Western film , ’s character required a gun for one of their scenes. The assistant director grabbed one of three prop guns and yelled which indicated the gun had no rounds. Unfortunately, that was not the case and when Baldwin fired the said gun, shots began to fire and tragically killed the film’s cinematographer and wounded its director. The tragedy raised new questions about fi****ms safety on film sets.

The manhunt for may be over, but a lot of unanswered questions remain. According to , dental records confirmed the remains found in an area of the Carlton Reserve are of Brian Laundrie, the FBI announced Thursday. However, questions on the causes of death, why the remains are there, why he mean’t missing, and how the remains were found are a mystery. What do you think of this?

Across the pond, it looks like the father of the has something to say about his daughter and her husband. So that being said, with her upcoming single, “Easy on me” and potential album, “30”, I am making a hypothesis that this move is going to represent “Moving on” and “Forgiveness towards herself” and where she’s at in life. I’m so pumped!”

So, it looks like a certain ex-husband could care less that their ex-wife is pregnant… or should we say, has something more to say. According to , after Co-Host, Jenkins, revealed that she is pregnant on Season 8’s premiere of her show, ex-husband, Freddy Harteis, “who split from The Real co-host in 2017, allegedly remarked that he upgraded from trash to treasure a long time ago”. ’s Opinion: It is smart and emotional marketing moments like this that make you nostalgic. They take you so much into childhood that they give you closer to things you didn't know you needed closer with. This was as monumental as when Mister Rogers was awarded the Emmy for lifetime achievement or when Sesame Street got the Kennedy Center Honors. I ugly cried for those moments too LOL Thank you Nickelodeon for this moment and thank you Steve for coming back for saying HI- We love y'all!

’s Opinion: Despite me being GenZ, I grew up on Steve’s Blue’s Clues. I remembered my mom and dad buying the VCR tapes and I just remembered helping Steve find clues, help Salt and Pepper make recipes, sing along to “blue skidoo, we can too” or “we just got a letter, I wonder who it’s from”, just reminiscing in all of the memories makes me so emotional. So seeing Steve once again 20ish years later as an adult, of course I got in my feels.

’s Opinion: For the first time in a long time, I have no idea what to say. I know it's a great thing he got fired for saying inappropriate and racist things but I'm more interested in really zoning in what he said. 'Cause truth be told, it must be horrible! Because if you are being fired by some of the longest running game shows as an executive producer- let's face it- You must suck for that to happen. This is the real lesson that our past can and will haunt us.

’s Opinion: We now live in a society that “Once you post/make a statement on any media platform that’s very controversial, it never, truly goes away” and sadly, it can come back to haunt you. The takeaway lesson of this matter is “Say it or type it once in your head” before actually making the said statement.

According to , quote: “On Thursday, Spears’ father filed his response the singer’s petition for his suspension with the Los Angeles Superior Court, announcing his decision to step down, though his attorney states that there are “no actual grounds for suspending or removing” him. His attorney cites the “public battle with his daughter” as his reasoning for stepping down.”

In response to Spears’ father stepping down, the pop star’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, issued a statement, obtained by , quote: “We are pleased that Mr. Spears and his lawyer have today conceded in a filing that he must be removed. It is vindication for Britney. We are disappointed, however, by their ongoing shameful and reprehensible attacks on Ms. Spears and others,” Rosengart’s statement says. “We look forward to continuing our vigorous investigation into the conduct of Mr. Spears, and others, over the past 13 years, while he reaped millions of dollars from his daughter’s estate, and I look forward to taking Mr. Spears’s sworn deposition in the near future.”

’s Opinion: What this case teaches up is that speaking up and sticking together is important. I'm soo elated for Spears to move on and live life closest to what it's suppose to be. Hope she is happy. According to , Simone Biles withdrew from the women's team gymnastics final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics on Tuesday, citing mental heath concerns as she attempts to protect "her body and mind."

This comes after Team USA's first rotation on vault in which Biles’ Head Coach told after Biles walked off the floor, "Physically she is fine. But she is done for the night." However, USA Gymnastics cited in a statement that Biles withdrew from the team final competition "due to a medical issue."

reported that Biles broke down in tears as she explained her decision. "Whenever you get in a high stress situation, you kind of freak out," the 24-year-old told reporters. "I have to focus on my mental health and not jeopardize my health and well-being." "It just sucks when you're fighting with your own head," she added.

’s Opinion: I feel so proud for Simone Biles for stepping down due to mental health reasons. It's time we all take a page out of her book and not feel shame when our mental health is affecting all aspects of our life because it does. I applaud anyone under that much pressure to value their mind, body and soul. She understood that in order to succeed those the things have to align. We love you Simone and respect you. Cannot wait to see you back at a later time.

’s Opinion: Our mental health is so important to keep in check as that is what affects how we think, feel, and act. It is also what helps us determine how we deal with stress, relate to others, and how we can make healthy choices, and this was definitely a healthy choice that Simone made in an effort to save her health and wellbeing. Overall, we need to learn from Simone (as well as Naomi Osaka) and allow ourselves to understand that we're all human and we need to take a step back from everything life throws at us sometimes to self-reflect and recuperate.
