To reinvent an iconic unscripted series, this ICG camera crew saw every frame as a chance to stun. Read about the union camera team on Project Runway, led by Local 600 Director of Photography Jason Hafer, in the November issue of ICG Magazine.

“In the unscripted world, the camera operator is their own director and producer. They’re reading the story and crafting the shot as it flows,” says director Ramy Romany.

Masanobu Takayanagi, ASC, and his ICG camera team bring the raw musical intensity of “Nebraska” to life in “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere.”

This feature is the fifth film director Scott Cooper and Takayanagi have made together, beginning with 2013’s “Out of the Furnace” and most recently “The Pale Blue Eye” in 2022. “I can’t say enough about Masa,” Cooper states. “He is as trusted a collaborator as I have.”
