The Girl from Plainville could be one of my favorite experiences this year when it comes to artistic license and discipline. As a colorist, I found my contributions to the project were really most profound when I could identify subtleties in color to nuance scenes but also really hold back from an overpowering look. Moments played in naturalistic color with just a little tweak in hue to play on subconscious, merge with the music composition and alert the audience in a tasteful way, something more below the surface is going on.

Finally accepting it’s November aka birthday month! The super sap in me loves to brood *ahem*reflect on the years passed. Turns out I have a pattern of making big changes this month- does anyone else do that right around their birthday?

4 years ago I moved to LA.
One year later, went moved again to Atwater Villlage
I unlocked the next life level in meditation training with
A year after that I joined the magical crew at looking at you!
And last year on this day, I walked into my now-house in Eagle Rock for the first time. 🏡🌴
Things have for sure been weird, and the world feels like it’s spinning at a different speed lately, but I think I can finally feel a bit more ground beneath my feet.
