Try this hack! You won’t regret it!

Oso has hated baths since he was a puppy. He would go running and hide the moment he heard the tub filling up! I started with an old trick- spread PB on the wall of the shower but that got messy and I worried the cleaning chemical remnants might harm him. Then we started using these slow feeders from .burlybrand with suction cups on the bottom at meal time and a lightbulb 💡 went off… “Perfect for bath time!” Just add some “lick worthy” treats like PB or plain Greek yogurt (freezing for a few hours helps make it last longer).

Creating positive associations with baths eased Oso’s anxiety. Licking is a naturally soothing activity for dogs and helps keep him busy and distracted the entire time! I no longer feel guilty about forcing baths on Oso, and he no longer feels extreme anxiety 🩵

⚠️ When “pit bulls” attack... they do it with LOVE, slobber, and a wiggly butt!

Even though our boys are actually American Bullies, they are often lumped in with the “pit bull” stereotype. Sadly the bully breeds get a bad rap for no good reason. They are wrongfully known as “a dangerous breed”, banned from cities, not allowed in many rental properties, and put down in shelters for reasons that are not their fault. 😢 We started this page in hopes of bringing smiles, and raising awareness. Like, share, or comment to help spread awareness about the amazing bully breeds 🥰💕.
