I MET THIS MAN YESTERDAY AND TODAY HE BOUGHT ME AN iPHONE 16 📱

I was just walking to the supermarket yesterday, nothing special. A man walked up and started a casual conversation. He looked good, dressed neat, smelled nice, so I didn’t suspect anything. We talked a little and exchanged numbers.

This morning he called and asked me to meet up. When I got there, he placed a brand new iPhone 16 on the table. My eyes almost popped out. He smiled and said, “This is just a small gift, because you’re special.”

But right after that, he started pushing another agenda. He asked me to come spend the weekend at his house, saying it was just for fun. He promised even more things if I agreed.

That’s when it clicked in my head. I held the phone, but I knew the gift came with strings attached. There’s no such thing as a free lunch. He wasn’t playing Santa Claus, it was all a plan.

So the story turned real fast. The iPhone might be sweet, but the motive behind it is bitter. Sometimes blessings wear the face of a trap.

For my compound, my landlord daughter na correct fine geh. Every time she waka pass, even light wey NEPA no dey bring go just shine for her face. 🌞

One evening, I dey wash plate for corridor, she waka come ask, “Brother, abeg you get spoon?” I rush go inside bring spoon, but as I dey shine teeth give her, na plastic comb I carry come out. 🤦‍♂️😂

She just look me, laugh scatter, say “Tenant, abeg relax, you no fit impress me.”

Since that day, anytime she dey pass, other tenants go shout, “Spoon boy, hide your comb!” 🤣

You sabi the sweetest part? Naira wey don dey lowkey for long, after plenty wrong judgment, don finally dey vibe with him guys again. E sweet to see am dey chill with Phyno, Burna and VDM. Na clear proof say na only God fit cancel person… and God no dey cancel innocent man. 🙌🏾
