Anyone in need of a 4'X4' VO booth?
I built a VO booth with the help of a friend (Tom Glinskas) using multiple layers of drywall, wood frame & studs, sheet block, and denim insulation as a DYI project for my voice over recordings.
The walls are connected by hinges so that each wall section can be removed for the purpose of mobility.
Since I live in an apartment it was necessary to have it come apart in the event that I needed to relocate the booth.
I no longer have a need for this booth and would like to see it go to someone who could use it as much as I did (or even more).
The booth has two layers of drywall on the exterior and a single layer of drywall on the interior.
The door itself is covered with vinyl sheet block to reduce db bleed through.
The wall opposite to the door has a full layer of sheet block between two layers of drywall.
There is also a subfloor filled with denim insulation.
I started a passive air vent system and have the materials to construct the active air flow system that I never got around to completing.
The roof top also needs some finishing as that is incomplete.
There is no acoustical treatment material inside the booth.
I have kept that for my new VO booth.
If you are interested in this VO booth, please send me a private message here on Facebook.
