Police Were Seen Putting Down Shell Markers While Investigating The M****r Of This Morning 💔🕊️
BloodHound Q50 was a rising Chicago drill rapper who quickly became one of the most recognizable voices from the city’s newer generation. Born Mikquale Cooper, Q50 started making music around 2023 and initially didn’t plan on pursuing rap seriously. That changed as songs like “Big 3” and “Coffin” began gaining attention, eventually leading to his commercial breakthrough with “Splash Bros” in 2024. His momentum continued with records including “Triple 3,” “Go,” “BH4L” and “Don’t Blink or Stare.” (AllMusic)
Q50 was closely associated with fellow Chicago rapper BloodHound Lil Jeff, whose death in 2024 had a major impact on Q50’s music and career. Q50 continued representing the BloodHound movement while paying tribute to his late friends through his music. His growing buzz eventually earned him a deal with Signal Records under Columbia Records. In April 2025, he released the project Long Live My Brudda He Prolly Kilt Yo Brudda, followed by Get Back Or Die Trying in August 2026. (AllMusic)
Reports of Q50’s death emerged on September 13, 2026, prompting tributes throughout the hip-hop community. Multiple rap outlets and figures, including Rolling Loud, have reported and publicly mourned his passing. However, as of the latest reporting I can verify, authorities had not yet publicly identified Q50 as the victim, so official confirmation was still pending even though reports and tributes were widespread. Q50’s rise happened remarkably fast—from beginning to rap in 2023 to securing a major-label deal and becoming a nationally recognized name in Chicago drill within only a few years. His music and connection with BloodHound Lil Jeff helped make the BloodHound name increasingly visible outside Chicago, and his passing comes while his career was still growing. Rest In Peace BloodHound Q50. 🙏🏻🕊️
