Hello, Facebook! After a long and much needed social media hiatus, I am frackin' back! Sorry for my absence but it was very much needed. Please forgive my lack of responding to all of everything and please be patient with me as I go through the thousands, literally, of notifications and hundreds of messages. Don't hate me if I don't get to all of the old ones.
Fear not, my ranting and venting and sassy comments are coming back as well.
Funniest thing about my hiatus is how many texts I received asking if I was okay. =)

Synopsis:
All Timmy wants is to finish the soundtrack for the horror film his friend is making at school. But first he has to face the everyday terrors of his own family: a mentally imbalanced father, an overly doting mother, and the intense fights that put him in the middle of their messed up relationship. Will Timmy be able to turn all this emotional turmoil into beautiful music or will he too be claimed by madness?

TIMMY - ONLY considering actors 18+ to play 16yo, (legal 18 is okay), Caucasian. Obsessed with making electronic music. All he cares about is becoming the best musician possible. But he's forced to spend a lot of time dealing with his parents' dysfunctional relationship. As a result, he's had to grow up quickly and act older than his age. A few industry friends mentioned to me this weekend that I have not been ranting enough lately so here we go.

!!!!! You know I love you but what the heck is this new trend where you walk in the room and hand us your headshot and resume NOT stapled together and assume that I'm now your personal assistant? That's literally what you're telling me when you walk in unprepared and lazy. "I didn't have the time to do this myself or maybe I just don't care enough so I'm going to just assume you're going to do it for me." Guess what? I'm not - and then when I add yours to the pile of others that are completed correctly, your resume will eventually get lost and then I'll have to look you up on IMDB to find your rep and your credits and by that time, there are 10 other choices more easily accessible. Please stop being lazy and unprofessional. It may seem like a small thing, which it is in comparison, but it speaks volumes to your professionalism and to how much you really care about the audition. Awesomeness! This is a phenomenal project...a real life story. Entertainment Weekly called this webseries "One of the Top 6 web series to watch while waiting for Transparent to return!" Now that's a mouthful of amazing!
Starring Marlo Bernier as Myrna and produced by Marci Liroff (who was also the phenomenal Casting Director) & Jennifer Fontaine. Marci had this crazy idea for me to play a really MEAN Casting Director....guess I was ready for my closeup.

MYRNA is an official selection of the Hollywood Film Festival and will be playing at the Arclight Cinemas Hollywood next month. Stay tuned for more info. I BEST see you all there. xoxo

IMPORTANT WARNING about Project Casting.
I want to make you all aware of their website. I don't know too much about them but I do know one thing is for certain: they are resposting CD breakdowns/casting calls WITHOUT permission. I'm not sure if they are breaking any laws or not but they are definitely crossing the ethical and professional line. They resposted my casting call yesterday WITHOUT ever talking to me or getting my permission. I think, though am not sure, they are CHARGING actors for site membership and therefore you are paying for access to my casting calls which I have already made FREE for you. That's super shady. When I contacted them about it on , they removed the casting call but outright refused to call or email me about it. Then they blocked me on Twitter. SHADY SHADY. I spoke to quite a few CDs about them yesterday and with 100% agreement, those I spoke with all think they are unprofessional and shady and none of us have given permission for our casting calls to be posted on their site. Please do your research before paying money for these sites. Let it be known that I am not, nor is my company, nor any project I am working on ever associated with Project Casting. If you see my casting calls on there, IGNORE THEM and know they have been posted without my permission. I will not stand for anyone trying to rip off actors or take advantage of them. Not with my name on there. Not ever! Please let me know if you ever see my casting calls on their site. Said with love. xoxo

CASTING CALL: Same studio feature comedy as last time. I still can't mention specifics of the film but here is the ONLY role we are looking for in this social media casting call. Please ONLY submit or message me about THIS ROLE. Please do not message me about any other possible roles. Please and thank you.

ROLE: 'BOY' (yes, he has a name) needs to be at LEAST a REAL 18 years old. Cannot consider legal 18....needs REAL 18+ to play 15. We are NOT looking for normal, average or handsome guys. We need character types - overweight, pimply, extra nerdy/dorky, etc etc. Please do not email me if you usually go out for the handsome types/jocks/muscles, etc. The jokes for this role do not work if are not the type we are looking for. Thanks in advance for understanding.

This film is NOT politically correct and there is a lot of cursing and talk of s*x and s*xuality and drinking and drugs. It's not for everyone. We need an extremely funny CHARACTER actor, any ethnicity, to handle some adult themes in a few scenes with our lead. We cannot have a good looking 18 yo. Needs to be a character: overweight, very nerdy, pimply, etc etc etc. Please no typical good looking young men; we just cannot consider them.

Granting Wishes | BP11

Hi FB peeps!
For those of you who don't know, I'm the Director of Operations of www.bratpack11.com and we grant wishes to children of wounded and fallen soldiers.

We are currently fulfilling a wish that requires us to fly a family to San Diego and put them up in a hotel, etc. We have all the pieces of the puzzle worked out but our hotel fell through. We rely on donations and the kindness of others as we are a new non profit (yes, we have our 501-C). If anyone has a San Diego hotel hook up, we would so appreciate it.
