The fact that my kid never thinks I’m broke is honestly disturbing 😭🥴 Like… how do you walk past a toy aisle with that much confidence in my bank account? How do you point at every snack, every gadget, every shiny thing like I’ve got unlimited funds hidden somewhere in a secret vault? Kids will really look you dead in the eye and say “Can we get this?” as if bills don’t exist, as if groceries didn’t just take half my soul, as if I’m not out here doing mental math every five minutes. Their level of financial delusion is both impressive and terrifying. But the funniest part? They genuinely believe mama can fix anything, buy anything, and make anything happen. And honestly… even when I’m broke, somehow I usually find a way. That’s the real superpower right there 😂💀

Some days I genuinely don’t know how I’m going to make it through. Life gets heavy, responsibilities stack up, and the weight of everything I carry as a parent feels almost impossible. But then my kids come in with their little voices, their unexpected hugs, their innocence, their jokes, their “Mama, look!” moments… and suddenly the storm inside me settles. They don’t even realize how powerful they are, how their love resets my whole world, how their smiles make the hardest days feel a little softer. I may not always have it all together, but when I look at them, I’m reminded why I keep pushing, why I get up again, and why every struggle is worth it. They truly make everything okay again.

Being a mama isn’t something I clock into when life feels easy or when the day is going my way. It’s a role that lives in my bones, in my heartbeat, in every decision I make—even on the days I’m running on empty. It’s waking up before I’m ready, showing up even when I’m exhausted, giving love when I feel stretched thin, and choosing patience when my mind is tired. It’s a 24-hour shift that never ends, not because I have to, but because that little life looking up at me depends on my strength, my presence, and my love. Motherhood doesn’t wait for convenience; it demands consistency, grace, sacrifice, and a whole lot of heart. And even on the hard days, even when I’m overwhelmed, I know there is nothing more important, more meaningful, or more powerful than being somebody’s mama.
