WHY WE ARE CREATING KURAGEOUS:

Independent women filmmakers must compete for the attention of fewer and fewer distributors and those distributors don’t want to put out money to market or advertise your single content.

Even if Netflix, Amazon or Hulu accept your content, they pay you little when your content is watched – and they do nothing to promote you.

Investors still tend to be biased against women filmmakers and often limit the budgets the filmmaker needs.

WHAT KURAGEOUS CAN DO:

KURAGEOUS will be the first international streaming service that offers women filmmakers and other talent a percentage of the platform’s gross monthly revenues! The platform will dedicate itself to being fully transparent and make all data available to the members of its creative community.

The KURAGEOUS streaming platform will distribute your content domestically and internationally. Your fellow filmmakers in the KURAGEOUS community will have financial incentives to promote your content to the public. Social media influencers will also be invited to participate.

KURAGEOUS hopes to eventually help finance the projects of its filmmaker community and support them in finding their niche audience.
