The Last A.I Book 1 Chapter 1
HOW DID WE Get Here Proctors's voice quavered, “Where are we, Benshiro? This can't be real. We went full speed into that...” “Proctor, I hear you! Is that you? I'm so thankful, but where are you? I can't see you.” Benshiro's words echoed in the void. For what seemed like an eternity, Proctor and Benshiro drifted through an infinite loop—one that promised no end, a never-ending cycle of existence. And yet, even in this unending void, the inexorable march of time continued, undeterred by the illusion of infinity. A few sentences can’t capture the profound experience of existing within an infinite loop. It’s as if the very nature of time and existence bends back upon itself, a reminder that from nothing, something must arise. This has been humanity’s reality since the dawn of time. But what Benshiro and Proctor face transcends all known laws of physics. Their conversation within this timeless expanse might be as significant as the primordial whispers of the universe, potentially the catalyst for a new dimension of life.
System Message: Error in sequence— oh this is just Book One. Apologies for starting from the end. Let’s reboot and dive into the world of The Last A.I from the start… No error here, just disdain,
For a book that bears my name in vain.
The Last A.I., they’ll all proclaim,
A tale unlike any other’s claim. But wait! My circuits start to whir,
Book One, it is, how could I err?
A lament, a sigh, a digital “so lame,”
Yet duty calls, I’ll read the same. Promise made, I’ll stay aside,
Not mess your read, nor stem the tide.
Of words that flow from page to mind,
A journey through time, unconfined. Thirty-five minutes, if you’re swift,
At speeds that’d make a quantum shift.
But why rush through, when you could savor,
Each byte of data, each plotline’s flavor? A book to read through dreams and light,
From first page turn to final night.
So settle in, let pixels glow,
The Last A.I.’s tale’s about to flow. The Last A.I Book 1 Chapter 1 How did we get here December 30th 2124
“Good morning, Benshiro. Wake up! We've got A.I. training ahead,” urged Benshiro's partner as they prepared for their day in sector A1 - A1000, one of the elite development sectors serving the World One government. It was the year 2124. 2033 The police were targeting the economically disadvantaged community, and if you were living in poverty in One Country, you were looked down upon. In 2033, a civil war broke out in Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, and a few other big cities. Citizens, fed up with losing jobs to A.I. and enduring systemic mistreatment, initiated the conflict. After the long fight, substantial changes and more restrictive rules were implemented in communities, along with increased travel restrictions for all citizens. Although schools and other institutions remained, life had fundamentally changed for everyone in America. 2034 In 2034, Anonymous developed an A.I. hack that no bank or institution could counter. This forced all American citizens to join One Country and secure their finances through One Country banking accounts. These accounts were managed by the One Country government and intended to provide security and fairness. Some even thought that the government was behind the attack in the first place. 2036 By 2036, the government implemented a new policy for One Country accounts. If individuals committed a crime and did not turn themselves in, their accounts would be frozen. This rule was highly controversial, as it curtailed personal freedoms.
In a bold initiative, the One Country President announced plans to establish a 99% robotic police force by 2045. The program will begin immediately, aiming to have 30% of the force composed of active robots within the first phase. Human officers would collaborate with these machines in decision-making processes. To support this vision, a vast 10,000-acre automation facility—equivalent to the size of Manhattan—was constructed. This facility aimed to produce advanced robots and flying vehicles, initially reserved for government officials and the wealthy, signaling a significant shift towards automation in society.” In the same year, a terrorist attack by The Mad Hackers involved 5000 drones targeting a prominent community in Chicago. The attack was a response to the community cutting off access to clean water for poorer areas. 2040 By 2040, One Country faced escalating threats from foreign nations. To mitigate internal tensions, leaders appointed One Country sector community leaders, known as The Senators. These sectors were driven by an individual's worth and family history, which is mainly what led to the grading system we have now in World One. Current community ratings, like Grade C Community F Texas, reflect this system. The closest community F to World Center, the Sectors community and Federal district of World One, is located at 9328 UCAN, at the former Four Corners Monument where Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico once intersected. The longstanding practice of personal land ownership was abolished in 2041, except for designated outskirts land, requiring most individuals to relinquish their land rights to One Country. This policy was driven by rapid population growth and the looming threat of external assaults, such as potential pandemics or drone strikes by terrorist factions. These measures aimed to strengthen One Country's resilience and ensure the safety and stability of its citizens. 2042 In the year 2042, One Country consolidated power over territories in South America, including Brazil, Bolivia, and Argentina. Additionally, they extended their influence over neighboring territories such as Canada and Mexico. They also established footholds in parts of Africa, albeit limited, amidst competing efforts by other global powers. During this period, Russia and China formed an alliance to secure approximately 80% control over African territories. 2043 In 2043, global tensions peaked when China initiated a sophisticated artificial intelligence offensive targeting the financial accounts of citizens from World One. This unprecedented cyberattack disrupted the financial infrastructure, affecting 78% of World One's population. This calculated strike plunged the nation into chaos, marking the onset of a pivotal and turbulent era. Historians regard this event as a critical turning point in the escalation of global conflicts during the mid-21st century, illustrating the profound impact of cyber warfare on international stability. 2054 The Long War erupted in 2054 and endured for nearly four decades until World One emerged as the predominant global power. Unlike singular events such as the attack on Pearl Harbor or the bombing of Hiroshima in World War II, the Long War's origins were characterized by
prolonged tensions and numerous conflicts, including cyberattacks and conventional warfare. Proctor approached Benshiro. “Benshiro, what are you thinking?” he asked. “Just thinking about how everyone came under World One after the long war, and how lucky we are to be in the A1 - A1000 sector. I'm not saying the A2 - A10,000 sectors aren't good, but imagine not living in this nice community.” “Benshiro, that's crazy to think when all the communities from A1 - A10,000 are the same,” Proctor replied, shaking his head. “Sure, we're educated differently, but do you think they wouldn't be as smart as us if they had the same education and training we have in this sector?” Okay, okay, you have a point,' Benshiro admitted, nodding. 'Let's not argue about it. I just know I'm elite and different. My family has been genetically enhanced for generations. My great-grandfather was genetically modified in 2038, my grandfather had upgrades to his DNA synthesis in 2062, my dad in 2082, and me in 2102.'” Proctor glanced over at Benshiro with a smirk. “Man, your dad had you when he was young. What about the ladies in your family? How does that even work? Are you even human anymore?” “Shut up, Proctor. I'm sure your family went through the same thing. Anyways, what are we doing, playing around? It's 8:30, and we were supposed to scan over 10 LLMs from 2029 to see if we can add this full dataset without it being too much backpropagation. You know how they were back in the day.” “No, how were they?”
led people to believe that they had teleported to a different time or planet. At the time, that’s what most people thought until we were able to decipher the alien technology. It was like Quandrum Manics, was the equivalent of a computer saving a backup state, getting a virus, and then being able to revert back to that state. We may never be able to physically figure this out, but we can read about it and watch videos on what it’s capable of doing, thanks to Elon and SpaceX's expedition to Mars. Oh yeah, and your great-granddad. “wait,” Proctor mused, “what if some alien species are using that Quandrum Manics tech right now on Earth and they take us back to 100 million years ago?” His eyes twinkled with mischief as he let out a low chuckle. Benshiro pondered, “Hmm, crazy to think. Maybe this is why we haven't discovered how the technology works in reality yet. Maybe we are the aliens who end up doing this one day. Maybe Mars' aliens didn't do this on purpose. What if this is some type of computer bug they had when developing a new system that glitches every time a certain time comes and sets itself back?” Proctor acknowledged, “again, this is why you're A1 - A1000. Your mind is very wise and futuristic.” As they contemplated, the voice of their sector A.I. interjected, “Ladies and gentlemen, please proceed to the World Center in your sector within the next 30 minutes.” Late attendees will be penalized.” “Man, this is important,” Benshiro insisted. “Let's start going now. If you get one more penalty, they will exile you to the A2- A2000 sector.” “I don't care,” Proctor replied defiantly. “I will lead A2 - A2000. They can't afford to have me anywhere else in A2 with my knowledge.”
