This is a post for the people who called it ‘weird’ that I posted a photo in the bath with my newborn daughter…

There is nothing weird about a father bonding with his baby. Some people will always try to turn pure things into something negative, but I’ll never let that stop me from being a hands-on, loving dad.

Holding your newborn in the bath is one of the most normal, natural parenting moments there is. It calms them and comforts them, and helps them feel safe.

My daughter will grow up knowing she was cherished, protected, and loved unconditionally from day one by her parents.

I’ll never let bitter people shame me for loving my daughter openly and unapologetically.

Not every moment between a parent and child needs to be questioned or turned into something negative. Sometimes it’s simply a dad loving his baby girl and I’ll continue to do that proudly, no matter who has an opinion.
