O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) is a comedy-drama directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, loosely based on Homer’s Odyssey. Set in 1937 Mississippi during the Great Depression, the film follows three escaped convicts—Ulysses Everett McGill (George Clooney), Pete (John Turturro), and Delmar (Tim Blake Nelson)—as they embark on a journey to retrieve hidden treasure before it's lost forever.
