First time trying Glovo here in Italy and of course it had to go completely wrong. I ordered a simple Crispy McBacon combo only and they delivered everything except what I asked for. Instead of my meal, I got a random Big Mac and a whole mountain of burgers I didn’t even want. Like who is ordering 10 burgers at 3AM?? Definitely not me. Total waste of money, zero satisfaction, and now I’m just staring at this pile of McDonald’s wondering how they messed up this badly.

And the worst part? I was actually hungry and excited for my order.Now I’m just disappointed, angry, and debating if I should eat something I didn’t even want in the first place.

Hi. I'm Erin, I have been saying my own name for nearly 40 years. Somehow, with no speech impediment to speak of, my name is misheard CONSTANTLY. Karen? They inquire. Eric?? They ask in confusion. Its 2024, update your drive-thru speaker. So, to avoid confusion I started saying "Judith" when asked for a name for my order. Judith doesn't sound like anything else. I do it without even realizing it and recently my kids heard me say it and were like...what?? "Judith, your table is ready!" They yell and my confused kiddos hear me say "that's me!"
For reference, "Judith" wasn't a completely random pseudonym. My boyfriend calls me "big b***y Judy" which evolved to "big bootith Judith". That's right, I'm not just dull, I'm also incredibly lame. *pic of my drink the other morning, ate the 'nana at snack

PADUCAH - A local restaurant has stirred up controversy after placing a sign on its front door reading: “Polite Reminder to ALL Customers: Please DO NOT Order Food If You’re Not Going to Leave a Minimum of 25% Tip.”
The management at La Bistro in Paducah explains the move is necessary to ensure servers are paid what they deserve. “It’s not our responsibility to cover their wages,” said owner Franklin Shaw. “It’s on the customers to make sure our staff survives.”
Regulars are perplexed. “I thought I was just paying for food, not for my waiter’s rent,” one patron remarked.
Despite the backlash, the restaurant insists the policy will help maintain a “high-quality dining experience.” In fact, the sign is being considered for franchising. “It’s a revolutionary concept,” Shaw said, while sipping on an espresso. “Who needs minimum wage when you have a good tipper?”

So I ordered McDonald’s and left very clear instructions: come to the side of my house and drop it off by the gate. I even had an envelope sitting there with a $100 cash tip because I was feeling generous.
And I’m honestly baffled, because instead of following the directions, they left the food right on my front steps. Crazy part is.. if they had just listened, they would’ve walked away blessed.
Instead, I had to go outside, grab the bag off the front porch, then go back and bring the $100 envelope back inside with me.
This is just a reminder to delivery drivers: pay attention to the instructions. You never know what’s waiting for you on the other end. Such a shame
 oh well. Maybe next time they’ll follow directions. It’s really that simple.
Going to do this everyday until they follow directions. Merry christmas lol

 please tell me why this bill hit the table last night and I almost left my OWN body.
I looked at the total and immediately thought the restaurant charged me for the building lease, the chef’s rent, AND the light bill because WHAT on earth is $967 for food that disappeared in twelve minutes??

I’m sitting there smiling like everything is fine, but deep down my soul is packing a suitcase like, “Yeah bro
 we outta here.”

My girl all happy because it’s her birthday, meanwhile I’m debating if I should fake a phone call, pretend I left my wallet in another CITY, or just pass out dramatically so they carry me out.
Only thing in my pocket was that little gold chocolate coin they put on top of the dessert
 so I slid it under the receipt like it was REAL money and prayed the waiter had a sweet tooth.

Older folks gon’ say “you should be ashamed,”
but younger folks like me understand SURVIVAL MODE was fully activated.

And the petty part of me is still mad because the waiter recommended tip options that were basically another $100 each.

I paid $10.65 for a strawberry smoothie today
 and the SECOND I went to tap my card, the screen jumped out asking if I wanted to tip 15%, 20%, or 25%. Be for real.
For what exactly?? I stood there, ordered it myself, waited myself, grabbed it myself. Nobody served me, nobody cleaned a table, nobody even hit me with the courtesy smile.
And right next to the register? A massive tip jar already stuffed like they’re taking donations for a cause. How many different ways do they want people to pay extra for doing the bare minimum? The machine even hit me with that guilt-trip pause when I hovered over “Skip” like I was disappointing the whole establishment.
It’s not even about being cheap.. it’s the principle. Every place wants a tip now, even when they’re not doing anything extra.
At this point buying a smoothie isn’t even a purchase
 it’s a moral exam. Facebook, is it just me or has tipping culture gone completely off the rails?

Don't think I'll be back to Texas Roadhouse ...the whole kiosk system is messed up and we try to point it out to them the manager and the server both got a little bit of an attitude but you look at this receipt and if you're an old person you're going to think you're paying that high tip cuz look at what it's saying you're paying.... my understanding after the fact is that the tip for the whole ticket not just what you're paying but why does it look like it's what you're tipping it's really messed up and confusing when you analyze it easily can be fixed to make more sense 🙄
