I'm sorry I don't post on this page as often as I would like. My efforts are spent over at my blog site RealHD-Audio.com. I wrote a blog post at RealHD-Audio yesterday about the kudos that this label has received over the years. It was prompted by a recent voice message lauding the Mozart Blu-ray disc by the Old City String Quartet.

Had a great AXPONA 2017 show in Chicago a couple of weeks ago. Once again, we had probably the only high-resolution, 5.1 surround room playing music at the show — and through a system that wasn't crazy expensive. The speakers from Emotiva, which costs a mere $700 per pair, might not have looked as nice as last year's Revel Salon IIs ($20K per pair) but they sounded as good! We got a couple of nice write ups but as usual the big boys focused on the big buck and loudest rooms.

Steven Stone did stop by and cheered about the new Yarra 3DX beamforming speaker that I was using to play surround content through a single 20" sound bar at our table. He wrote that it was one of the, "most impressive demonstrations" at the show.
