We are excited to announce that Driving While Black has been chosen as an official selection of The International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema 2016, in Nice, France!

We have been nominated for Best Feature Film and Best Comedy! We will screen on May 12th.

The festival opens on May 7th with a meet & greet then a busy screening schedule along with networking events, Q&A sessions and panel discussions with film professionals. Closing night is on May 13th with the Red Carpet Awards Ceremony.

We are excited to announce that Driving While Black has been chosen as the opening night film as an official selection of the 2016 College Town Film Festival at Penn State University in State College, Pa!

Driving While Black will kickoff the festival on Wednesday, March 16th at 7:30 pm at The State Theater, located at 130 W College Ave, State College, PA 16801. The State Theater has 500 seats and will be the second largest venue at which we've screened so far. The executive director informed us that they expect a large crowd for our screening, so if you're in the area make sure to get there early.

On October 15th, 1938, Warner Brothers opened The State Theatre as a test market for new films. The state-of-the-art cinema was built in just four months for a whopping $70,000. It offered patrons four different flicks each week. General admission was 30 cents for matinees, 35 cents after 5pm, and children’s tickets cost just 15 cents.

There will be a panel discussion following the screening which will be led by a Professor of Sociology from Penn State University. A representative from Driving While Black will be in attendance. We hope to see you there! Thanks, !

Way to go, Dominique!!! I first met, auditioned, and cast Dom in his first feature film more than 10 years ago now, and knew in an instant how special and how talented he is! Now, many MANY others will have the opportunity to witness his gifts as well... So happy for you, Dom! For all of us!

And it's another win for Driving While Black!!!
The 26th Annual New Orleans Film Festival is an Oscar-qualifying festival which screened over 190 films that were selected for competition out of 3,400 submissions. From more than 190 films selected for all categories in the festival, Driving While Black was one of only 8 films to have been chosen by the festival to compete for the main category of Feature Narrative.

We just received notification that Driving While Black won the Audience Award for Best Feature Narrative! Thanks to and everyone involved with the film!
