Hi, thanks for letting me join your dull group. I wanted to share my latest cut and torn paper collage. This is what I do all day, every day. I cut and stick for around 7 hours a day. The end results are beautiful, but, I think you'll agree the process is pretty dull, this is two and a half weeks worth of sitting in the same spot. Made entirely with recycled magazines, and finished off with a bit of biro.

Can't miss what you've never had, right?
But my husband and I have recently extended our home with a new kitchen and I insisted on putting one in. Hubby didn't think it was necessary.
But I'm glad we did, because tonight, after dutifully reading the instruction manual from cover to cover, and following all directions for first usage, at the age of 40, I have used my very own first ever dishwasher and it was glorious 😍

Hello from a dairy farm in rural Chester County PA!! I have lived here for 69 years, my entire life. I am very content to NOT have a cell phone, to wear jeans, a wool sweater or sweatshirt & sneakers most day, drive a Buick Lacross, watch PBS or BritBox in the evenings & the list of my dull activities goes on. My hobbies include genealogy, history, all things Scottish & landscape photography, all of which most of my friends find boring or dull!! My fun is to drive around & look for springhouses. I have photographed close to eighty, in Lancaster & Chester Counties. This is one of my favorite springhouses!!

I'm 74, farming alone for 30 years..raising a handspinners flock of sheep and angora goats, English Angora bunnies (since 4H days). I spin ,dye, knit, weave (on 1800s barn looms) and rug hook with their wool. I live in a tumbling down farmhouse with woodstove, cold water in kitchen. A very simple life here, reading lots of books, only my phone,no internet or computer or tv. Mine is a hard, lonely life but a good one. An old hippie crone, maven of the old ways.
And since someone asked about the sheep shearing ,here is Lilac having just sat on her butt waiting for Michael to shear her...the sheep all get cookies when finished..

Open the dictionary to “dull” and this is the photo. I’m 67 and have lived in the same house for 28 years. I share it with a seven-year old Border Collie mix. I rarely cook. An exciting breakfast is chocolate Cheerios with banana almond milk. My favorite dinner? Tomato soup. Bedtime comes very early around here, most nights by 8:30. I retired from practicing law twenty years ago because of a chronic neurological disease. I spent a good part of that 20 years sleeping. Also, quilting. I studied Hebrew and celebrated my Bat Mitvah at 52. I’m the only surviving member of my nuclear family. I read contemporary literary fiction and mysteries. The last ten or twelve TV shows I watched were in a language I don’t speak (Korean). Now I’m back in school working on a master’s degree in Jewish Studies because . . . Why the heck not? I have to do something and my mobility is exceedingly limited. But my newest hobby? Reading about other dull women!

Hi. I love this. You all seem much younger than me. I’m 83. 20 years ago I retired and my husband and I did a little traveling, but at 72 I got an Old English Sheepdog puppy. Now I just want to stay home with him. I garden a little (bad back). What I look forward to every day is my afternoon walk with Piper. My husband says I’m dull… all I can talk about is dogs. (You all should know, we failed obedience class)
