Teaching is an art, and we very rarely have quality employees who can effectively train younger staff.

This is why firms and businesses who don’t focus on building out a functioning training system find a talent gap in their people, forcing them to try to hire from the outside.

This talent gap crisis will only continue to grow as AI replaces many entry level positions (or at least the work that was done in those positions)

I was sitting down at Bryant Park in New York City, having a strawberry daiquiri and eating fried calamari at noon on a Friday in the middle of the summer with my fellow public hashtag interns. 😎

Not too bad of a gig, making $25/hour as a college kid. Life was good.

🪜 I learned quickly, however, that the traditional hashtag was not designed for me to climb. It was like a lefty using a righty glove.

Soon thereafter, I realized this issue wasn't isolated to me... a LOT of people are being pushed to climb a ladder that isn't built for their dimensions.

Not only does this lead to hashtag and satisfaction issues, but it leads to company inefficiency and hashtag problems.

📈 What if we reimagined how we structure our corporate hashtag ?

It starts with aligning the right hashtag type with the right job function and role... which is a major part of my book that I'm writing that should come out later this year.

The accounting profession has a 50 year old stereotype that it can't seem to shake... so instead, A.I. is doing the shaking for it.

Within the next couple years, accountants will not be doing the stereotypically boring work that it has been, and instead will have a job almost unrecognizable.

Different skillsets. Different personality traits. Different work.

Content is the way in which accounting professionals and non-CPAs alike find out information, and that's why I'm going to be putting out a variety of content on all related topics, starting with one on using content itself for storytelling.
