It happened, walked right into my house
Name suggestions? They're a boy. Hubs got out of the car, said hello to him and he followed him to the door and walked right in. We posted but no one claimed him, he has no chipped and is not fixed. Rescues are full so this is #4. First one that wasn't adopted from a rescue.

Edit : We're going to review the names over the weekend so keep them coming, he has a vet appointment on Tuesday. He has worms and is skinny not skin and bones but he needs to gain some weight for sure. Thank you for the awards as well!!

He literally knocked on my door, begging to be let in from the freezing cold
I thought it was my housemate who locked himself out, but turns out, it was this little buddy who came right on in. Got along decently with my dog, and now we're at the vet to check him out. We think he must have tried to get too close to a fire or under a car to try to get warm last night bc his left whiskers and fur are singed 😭

Delivered like Pizza to my front door
So its 10 mins to 5 pm, I work from home. I look out my window and the neighbor from across the street is heading to my door. Thinking its an emergency, I walk to my door. She has a brief case on her hand. She tells me she was walking her dogs yesterday and came upon a kitten near the road with no mom. She waited and walked her dogs came back, mom still not there. So she scoops the kitten up and kept it in her garage. She asks me if I want it, or she will drop at the shelter. I know we are going through kitten season. She pulls the kitten out for sure needs formula. So I just ask her to hand me the kitten ill take it from there. She does and now I am the proud owner of a little night dragon. Lucky I had just bought a kitten enclosure, heating pad, kitten litter box, blankets. All I needed was formula. I was planning on fostering

Newly adopted kitten with white thing update
Hello, it's Ponyo again! I just gave him a bath and look at his improvement in a span of few days! The 1st and 3rd are the recent pics and the 2nd and 4th were the before! I am very happy to show you how much Ponyo has recovered! He really is a strong kitty. there were also no changes in his appetite and is a very energetic kitty as always.

Thanks everyone's suggestion, I'm not that familiar with reddit but some of you guys were really helpful with your ideas and own experiences.

And also, I think i should've said "Rescue" than "adopted" so some people won't misinterpret and think that I adopted Ponyo for fun 😅

This will be my last update of Ponyo, and with that I leave you with more pics of him! (slide 5&6 were taken from the moment I saw him. he was seeking warmth and is too cute to resist so I had to take him home and give him shelter. 7th pic was taken yesterday!)

Uh, so we just, like....have a cat now
My daughter and I found this little lady screaming in a ditch on our walk to school Monday morning. I couldn't get her out right then, so I took my daughter on to school and on the way she said to name her Coco Muffin. 10 minutes later I was scrambling down into the ditch and she came right up to me, and 15 minutes later she was eating, drinking, and getting a bath. She starts purring like crazy every time she sees me now. My daughter has been begging for a cat, so she is thrilled and I've always wanted a calico 🩷

Hi everyone, I (F24)captured a stray kitty last night (nicknamed Jack) that has been living in my family’s backyard for some time now. He’s truly the sweetest thing and loves pampers and petting. He’s a little shy at first but with petting and sweet talking, he comes out of his shell and begins purring up a storm. We estimate that he’s a little over 2 years old.

We took him to the vet last night and he tested positive for FIV—because of this, my family and partner do not want me to take him in (I’m currently keeping him in my bathroom). I know there’s a huge stigma against FIV-positive kitties, but these babies can lead normal healthy lives and can live with FIV-negative cats. Unfortunately, due to my family and partner, I cannot keep the poor gem, though I wish I could.

He’s negative for FELV and is neutered.

He’s truly a sweet boy that enjoys company—he would come running over to the porch door whenever we called for him and would rub his face all over the glass whenever he saw us and my family’s resident cats. Once he feels safe with you, he becomes a chatterbox and will respond when you talk to him.

CDS got me good this holiday season
This cat came running up to me in my parking lot, yelling at me. It was freezing outside so I let her stay the night. It wasn’t too bad the next day so I let her out, but when I got home, there she was, yelling at me again. It’s been 2 weeks of her being inside (figured I’d let her stay thru winter) and on Saturday, to my surprise, she had a baby! Just one single baby. And it is precious.
