What: Moving Arts Theatre presents What Price Freedom, written by Tony Blake, directed by Darin Anthony, starring Rob Nagle as Benjamin Franklin and Brandon Bales as John Adams. With war looming, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams attempt a covert peace negotiation with Britain. Forced to share a bed on the eve of the talks, one of America's most enlightened pragmatists and one of its most insufferable realists find their greatest obstacle is not the Crown, but each other. As the fate of a new nation hangs in the balance, whose vision of freedom will prevail? In this world premiere by Tony Blake, the wit, fire, and restless brilliance of these founding fathers illuminate the question: What is the true price of independence?
