Valor Films is an independant production company based in LA, and founded by me, Director, Writer, and Producer Lance B. Witmer.
Hailing from the rolling hills and verdant forests of Pennsylvania, I have dreamed of being a full-time filmmaker since boyhood. Through middle and early high school I tried my hand at reproductions of inspiring films such as "The Iliad & Odyssey," "300 Spartans," and "The Fellowship of the Ring." By my senior year of high school I decided to tackle more ambitious aims--a feature length original interpretation of, "The Adventures of Robin Hood." That was my last narrative film for several years, while I wracked-focus to college and work. Thankfully, I was blessed with sporadic opportunities to keep my filmic skills honed through making and editing short commercials and training videos.
After completing my degree in business administration, my wife and I decided to steak it all on an incredible dream- the dream of becoming a full time filmmaker! We picked up everything we could and moved to Los Angeles where I enrolled in a BFA Cinema program, at Columbia College Hollywood. My senior year is now thoroughly underway, and I am proud to present the first physical realizations of my dream, the launch of Valor Films.
