His clients also include Grammy Award® Winner Melissa Manchester, Tony Award® and Golden Globe Award® Winner Morgan Freeman, Theatre World Award® Winner Rex Smith, Tony Award® Winner Daisy Eagan, Patrick Cassidy, and Philip Baker Hall. Daniel’s photographs have been published in the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Weekly, the Ventura County Star, the Santa Barbara News-Press, BackStage, CabaretScenes, BroadwayWorld, TheatreMania, Society News L.A., and Examiner. He began photographing with a Canon A-E1, all manual, 35 mm film camera at the age of 13. During his high school years, Daniel saved enough money and began shooting with a Nikon 8008S, 35 mm, film camera. His photographs were published in the high school newspaper and yearbook. He currently shoots with his Nikon D800 and D3. Subsequently, Daniel began shooting live concerts featuring Hong Kong’s major entertainers including Jacky Cheung, the late actor/pop artists Leslie Cheung, Anita Mui and Roman Tam, as well as international actor/pop star Andy Lui, Alan Tam, Jenny Tsang, Cally Kwong, Anthony Lun, Paula Tsui, and the famed group Grasshopper. Daniel is a classically trained flautist, vocalist, calligrapher and enjoys opera, theatre, ballet/dance, ice/roller skating, traveling, as well as a food connoisseur. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
