“Repair the Air” DIY Air Filter Workshop

This workshop will guide you as you make EPA-endorsed Air Filters effective against many fire-related toxins now in your home or workspace (https://www.epa.gov/air-research/research-diy-air-cleaners-reduce-wildfire-smoke-indoors).

Provided: Instruction and all supplies (20” x 20” fan; 4” MERV 13 filter; air-tight cover), so you can make more later and teach others!

This environmental justice action will repair the air for decades, with occasional replacement of detachable MERV 13 filters.

LOCAL RESOURCE for families impacted by the Eaton Fire can sign up youth and teens for FREE LA County Parks’ Care Camps, which are Monday - Friday through the end of January. Altadena Library staff will be on site helping at the camps as the library remains closed.
