ABOUT US: Shavua Israeli was founded at the start of 1999 as an independent weekly magazine for the large Israeli and Jewish communities of greater Los Angeles.
We have subscribers who receive the magazine at their home and/or place of business. We can also be found (free of charge) at newsstands, restaurants, markets, schools, temples and other businesses and community centers throughout the L.A metropolitan area.
Our readership is estimated at 250,000.
Shavua Israeli: Has a cooperative agreement with two leading Israeli publications, Anashim and Makor rishon that provide new and interesting articles every week. The former magazine was a weekly magazine specializing in profile stories and the latter is a standard news weekly. In addition to the articles we receive from the two journals, Shavua Israeli prints original material covering a wide variety of interests, including a column provided by the Israeli Consulate, as well as columns in areas such as fashion, astrology, local news, and religious/ political commentary.
The paper also has a strong classified section, including a "medical" section, devoted to local Doctors and medical professionals.
Shavua Israeli is a dynamic and colorful journal that is hard to resist at the newsstand. Our advertisers are extremely satisfied with the service they receive. We offer our customers promotional articles and "teasers" in oder to promote their business and produce the maximum results toward a long-term relationship with us.
