I’d like to believe that these things happen in order to redirect me.

This made me think deeply about defines the POPFLEX brand and who our customer really is.

Unfortunately I’ve always been and still am very critical of myself.

A simple question was asked that triggered a sadness deep within me and I couldn’t hold back my tears. I hate that I cried but I think I hate more that I felt ashamed of it afterwards.

I don’t like being told what I can or can’t do. But the truth is, the limit has to exist in order for this business to exist.

Just reaching a “sweet spot” where we’re not small enough that no one cares and not big enough that everyone’s scared.

Ugh. I can’t even begin to explain how low I felt after this. All I wanted was to genuinely connect with people who understood what I was going through. Growing a business can feel really lonely and depleting already but as a super empath, sometimes the feeling is unbearable. I wanted community. Friends even.

When I got the rejection email, it felt like someone was breaking up with me without giving a reason why. Was I not good enough? Did I do something wrong? Please someone tell me something. But no, they wouldn’t tell me anything.

It made me feel like I wasn’t worthy of being in their presence, like it was high school all over again and they saw me as some wannabe trying to join their popular group.

I hate that a part of me is still very damaged over this. But I’ll get over it. It’s just gonna take time.

Let’s be real. Wasting food is the biggest flop of all.

I added a mockneck halter on top of our go with the flow silhouette which is one of our most flattering patterns bc it gives a light sn**ch while hourglassing so good.

Hot take 🔥2 pc sets = the new romper.

I said it! And I ain’t taking it back!

This is the POPFLEX ☀️Sunshine Set ☀️and it was the perfect vacation outfit for my minimoon this summer. Easy, elevated, breathable. And most importantly, I suppose, it answers the question certain people keep asking so you’re welcome.

Size one up for comfort as the 100% cotton is not pre-shrunk so I’m warning you now!

I hope you’re happy with the features I included in this design, and as you know I’m always listening to feedback. But please remember not every design can be everything to everyone. If it is, well, it’s not.

I can no longer strive to make everyone happy because in the end, I find myself unhappy. Design is art and art is personal and I create because I love to not because I’m forced to.

Anyway, just know that if this one isn’t for you, something else might be. So please treat every design as a unique individual not a full judgement of the entire brand I’ve been so careful to build with so much intention. Maybe too much carefulness…because every review that judges my intention hurts. It’s like going to a vegan restaurant and leaving a bad review saying there were no real hamburgers. Like 🥲

Tried the viral watermelon ice cream hack and yeah it’s pretty good 👍 Just freeze a watermelon, dig a hole, pour some heavy cream into the hole (or coconut cream I heard works too if you are avoiding dairy or are vegan) then carve carve carve and add some maple syrup (I’m sure agave works as well) and YUM. V good. Didn’t measure anything. Taste buds just felt the vibes.
