Since we’ve been on the topic of churros, which is your fave churro shop anywhere? My photo is from my solo backpacking trip to Europe years ago with a visit to Chocolatería San Ginés in Madrid, Spain 🇪🇸. Founded in 1894, San Gines is one of the oldest purveyors of churros in the world. Dipped in their thick sipping chocolate, it made for a memorable summertime treat.

When times are tough, when things get dark and heavy, when there’s hatred, division, and injustice, I want to remember the good that still exists in the world and to remember to be a part of the good. That even in someone's final and terrifying moments that's all they wanted… for good to be the driving force of life. Twenty five years later, that hasn’t changed. Let's honor all the lives lost on September 11 by holding onto hope and choosing to be the good in the world.
