Hakeem Jeffries is trying to hold the Democratic Party together. The midterms are coming. The far-left is pushing back. He met with Jared Kushner. He called out Hasan Piker. He's walking a tightrope. The speaker's gavel is on the line.

Thank you for bringing this story to national attention.

Donald Trump has fully endorsed Saritha Komatireddy for New York Attorney General.

He calls incumbent Letitia James "the most corrupt AG in the country."

Komatireddy, former federal prosecutor and DEA chief of staff has thanked him for the backing.

The race is officially set and millions across America are now watching closely.

This is shaping up to be one of the most closely watched AG races in the nation.

What are your thoughts on this race?

It’s fascinating to watch the conversation around election rules unfold in 2026. Today’s headlines about nationalizing voting in 15 locations and the mail ballot regulations heading to the Supreme Court have really sparked a lot of discussion. Plus, there are states taking legal action over disaster funds linked to changes in election procedures. I’m doing my best to keep up with what all of this means for November.

WHY FREE PRESS MATTERS TO ME THIS YEAR
When I see headlines about 75 court cases related to free speech, the back-and-forth between the FCC and ABC, and the White House briefing room packed with mics from AP, Reuters, and CNN, it really drives home the importance of having a variety of news sources.

No matter if you agree with a particular story or not, I believe it’s crucial to hear from different outlets.

How do you keep yourself updated these days? Which sources do you find trustworthy?

According to reports, Trump took an unusual approach by hiding in a catering cart to catch a secret flight in Turkey. The reason behind this covert operation? Threats from Iran. Interestingly, he wasn't on Air Force One, even though the White House claimed he was. It seems the threat was genuine, but the method he chose was definitely out of the ordinary.

Senate Republicans decided to withdraw. Trump's SAVE America Act budget resolution, following the president's instructions. The all-night session was a whirlwind of chaos, almost falling apart on several occasions. Mike Lee even hinted at blocking the recess, but ultimately, he backed down. This delay makes it seem unlikely that we'll see another reconciliation package before the midterms.

Trump is calling for compensation from Iran, claiming they owe for every life they've taken or seriously harmed. That's quite a bold assertion. It's hard to imagine Iran actually paying up, but it certainly makes a statement.

Trump just said "jihadists" are being elected "all over the place." That's a new line of attack against Democrats. The midterms are three months away. The language is strong. The timing is not a coincidence. Whether you agree or not, this is going to be a major talking point heading into November.

Trump and his allies have started attacking Abdul El-Sayed, the progressive Democrat who just won the Michigan Senate primary. The attacks are already heating up. Trump sees him as a threat. El-Sayed is a fighter. But the next few months are going to be a brutal test.
