Hello, my name is Jerry Castillo. I am a freelance videographer & video editor in Los Angeles with an emphasis in Alternative Arts, Entertainment, & Social Media. I have my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts - Social & Behavioral Science. My journey with video began back in 2011. I was a senior in high school taking video production. My documentary won a local film festival held by BREEZE in Los Angeles. I knew I had some kind of talent, but I just never pursued it. I was more into hooping at the time. I did it for a grade. I missed my own screening of my documentary due to having a game the same day. After high school I never pursued it until years later I wanted to make a hoop tape of myself, so with a iPod touch and Windows Movie Maker I made one. No music just cuts. After that I stopped again due to not having any equipment nor the money for equipment. The iPod wasn’t mine it was my cousins. Then in 2017 I found the opportunity of a lifetime and started editing video for Club Rockit! Fast foward to January 2019 I found myself with the camera in my hands, and since then I haven't stopped. I have worked with artists such as: She Past Away, Panther Modern, Moving Units, T.S.O.L, Black Flag, Los Lobos, GutterMouth + many local artists. I also have worked with some of the top Alternative Nightclubs in LA County such as: Club Rockit, The Breakfast Klub, D3V1S1ON, Anarchy Library, Rituals (San Diego) to name a few. I have also worked with stores/brands such as: Space City Vintage, Sinister Sisters, Social Revolt. Lastly I have worked with a few Promotion Companies such as: Diabolic Events, FKOA Presents, Minty Boi Presents. I am available to film your Live Stream, Music Video, Event, Nightclub, Wedding, Commercials, Promo Videos, Youtube, any of your videos needs. I will give your videos my alternative twist to the traditional boring videos everybody else makes. I can specifically make your videos towards increased sales, increase brand awareness, brand rebranding, social media engagement, social media content to name a few.
