Professional DJ equipment Vestax: in 2008, the VCI-300 + ITCH was the beginning for Vestax and Serato to create a new DJ console of the next generation. An upgraded version VCI-300MkII was released a year later and was a dedicated USB MIDI controller for the incl. Serato ITCH DJ software. It also comes with a built in audio interface 24 bit stereo D/A-A/D converter with standard 4-IN / 4-OUT plus headphones connection.JOG wheel sensor control & adjustable JOG wheel torque mechanism, direct audio thru (Emergency Thru Switch whitch avoids the sound from stopping when the computer freezes). Controller was a bus powered device, power is drawn from the computer and under normal operation the VCI-300MkII does not require its own power supply. Vestax and Serato have joined forces.

Professional DJ equipment Vestax: at the turn of the year 1985/1986 first apperead mixer “Disco Boy” by SHIINO VestaFire Corporation. Model DSM-308 was a small “private mixer” with wooden sides, offered 5-channel: 3 analog inputs PHONO/LINE, PHONO/CD, PHONO/VIDEO and 2 MIC inputs with a function MIC ATT. Next year 1987 the company’s name changed from Shiino to Vestax Corporation. Mixer DSM-308 was a amazing significant historical model from early Vestax production.

Professional DJ equipment Vestax: in Mar.2009 appeared VAI-80 (“The TANK”), stylish digital audio interface (soundcard) capable of multi channel playback and recording. Compact robust metal chassis construction, each input has GAIN & EQ (hi, low) control to enable flexible adjustments for live recording and can free up the DJ from relying on the software control panel. Also loaded with XLR output for direct connection with club PA systems. Was excellent tool with high sound quality for any DJ or DAQ software.

Professional DJ equipment Vestax: amazing evolution of the original Vestax PDX-2000 turntable model from the year 2000. Gradually, during the following years the high silver platter was replaced by a low black platter (model PDX-2000MkII); the next step was to replace the A.S.T.S. black tonearm with the silver A.S.T.S. PRO type tonearm with additional pressure via Horizontal Balance adjustment - Dynamic Stylus Pressure adjustment k**b allows added needle pressure up to 5g (model PDX-2000MkII Pro; Vestax tonearm A.S.T.S. PRO for PDX-2000MkII Pro; the same type was also used in Controller One and QFO). The above-mentioned upgrade hardware will be available in very limited QTYs from the end of August.

prehistoric times brings an amazing story of mobile & professional multitrack recorders:
MR-10 / MR-10A from 1984 as Vesta Fire. After changing company to Vestax, their next products from 1987-1989, the MR-100, MR-100FX, MR-200 and MR-300 is along the lines of their MR10 series
In 1990 appeared Vestax MR-44, their first professional multitrack recorder. Next pro model from 1993 was MR-66 and could record 6 tracks simultaneously on a regular compact cassette. During those years, Vestax gradually began to focus mainly on top DJ technology.

Professional DJ equipment Vestax: in 1995~2000, a series of dual Top loading CD players appeared, inbuilt mixer allows you to mix next CD player, 2x phono, and 2x line sources without the connection of an external mixing console. 2 joysticks allow users to quick scan the CD, search easily for a known track and to pitch bend the track playing. Pitch bend allows you to adjust to pitch momentarily in order to fine tune your mix. Anti Skip & Anti Jump with the buffer memory. Standby Mode. If the CD is left unattended or on pause mode for an extended period (approximately10 minutes) the unit will go into sleep/auto standby mode. This feature has been included to promote the life of each mechanism as onstant playing will wear down the quality of the laser.

Professional DJ equipment Vestax: in addition to TOP models, Vestax also produced some home audio DJ gear. The most known was the mixer MDM-410; offered users 19” rack design, 4 band Master EQ, 3 band EQ per channel, 2 band Mic EQ with Talk Over with sensitivy control, selectable Crossfader, 6 sound effects and Echo function and very more inputs / outputs & USB audio interface. You can see the options for connecting devices to such a mixing console in the attached diagram.
