We’ve got just one more day of school before summer officially begins Thursday!☀️

I can’t believe this was them during the very first week of school. While their sibling dynamic hasn’t changed much throughout the year, it was so fun having them both in middle school at the same time.

What I’m going to miss most, though, is the convenience of one drop-off and one pick-up. This school year flew by, and I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to this chapter!

Absolutely dislike this time of year where it feels like everyone has already kicked off their summer fun plans and I’m here trying to survive the last 6 days of school. And can we talk about why teachers assign major projects due the final week of school?! 🫠🫠

To those already living their best summer lives, I’m genuinely happy for you. ❤️

And to those who are still packing lunches, helping with homework, and doing the daily drop-off/pick-up shuffle… I see you. We’re almost there. 💪🤣

Who’s officially on summer break already? Or shall I say who’s counting down the days?!

Still surprised by how much fun movie was! 🐑🔎 Went in expecting a family movie and ended up getting a genuinely funny little whodunnit with so much heart and charm.🥹 Putting this family-friendly murder mystery movie on your radar because it’s entertaining for all and has such a good message throughout! The Sheep Detectives is out in theaters now! 🍿🎟️

Had this in my draft, but no time is better than now to show up and support Asian-owned businesses like (family-friendly mahjong set), (Asian-American dolls), and (AAPI apparel). 🫶🫶🫶

- I know you’re centering mahjong in your new series, but ask to please be mindful of proper representation and respect the culture and community it comes from. Partnering with a non-Asian brand that treats it like a trend/aesthetic, repackages it (selling for $300–$1000+😳) and claims to be better and “not just slapping a game on a table” dismisses the history and community behind the mahjong game. Don’t know if you’ll see this message, but I hope you do and I hope you listen.

This is why I choose to support AAPI brands year round and not just during AAPI Heritage Month. Representation matters 👏👏👏

Monday rolled up like a water ride and said ready or not, you’re getting wet! 😜💦

A little sad my tween and teen aren’t my little kids anymore but this adventurous stage we’re stepping into together? I am HERE for it. Also open to other activities or travel destinations if you have any suggestions! Help a teen/tween mom out! 🙏

As for water rides, I need to know if you’re the kind of person who says “Heck yeah, let’s go!” or “I’ll pass and will grab snacks instead” 😆 Again, this is a safe space but I need to know where my water ride peeps are at!

Pardon and me while we lose our minds for a second 🤪🥳 Proud parent mode fully activated!

A few months ago, Callie surprised us when she signed herself up for basketball tryouts. She made the team on her own too. Unfortunately she spent most of the season on the bench and barely got playing time, but never once complained. I was low key expecting her wanting to quit, but she kept going to every team practice.

It wasn’t until the final quarter of the final game of the season that she scored! 🏀 Let’s just say we felt like we won the championship in that moment and completely lost our minds in the bleachers in front of everyone 🤣

Had to share this proud moment so we could celebrate with our Hustling Aunties and Uncles! Shoutout to every kid who keeps showing up even when it feels like it doesn’t matter. 🫶🫶🫶
