In a world ever more conscious of the environmental impact of our behavior, there exists a need and desire to spread awareness of eco-conscious choices to consumers. Up to this point, this awareness has been largely spread through specialized news media and documentaries, missing a vast majority of the population. So how do we reach the masses and influence their behavior towards healthier, more conscious choices? We inspire ‘good’ consumer behavior by placing eco-conscious, fair trade, cruelty-free and healthy products and brands in popular movies and television shows. Further, as advertising decays as a reliable way to reach consumers due to DVR’s and internet viewing of content, brand integration become an increasingly viable method for brands to reach their customers. The Entertainment Industry is going through a seismic shift with studios and networks scrambling to ‘green’ their productions and practices. To help with this transition, Good Planet Innovation (GPI) provides Production Sustainability services to the media community. We have 'greened over 40 commercials in the past year and are set to green several tv and film productions in the the coming months. Good Planet Innovation was created to impact the most people in the most profound way. We recognized that GPI could reach a vast audience in an organic, ‘non-preachy’ manner, creating an unprecedented opportunity to fundamentally shift consumer behavior. As the industry leader with this focus, GPI’s mission is to represent sustainable and otherwise ‘good’ brands (healthy, fair trade, cruelty free, educational and charitable) in order to integrate them into globally-distributed commercial films and television shows as well as online, mobile and gaming media platforms. GPI is in a prime position due to several key factors. Through our strategic partnerships, we have access to nearly every script going into production. We have relationships with key producers, prop masters and production designers, giving GPI an edge in our ability to fully serve our clients. Our service includes not only the placement itself, but photographing the product in use on set , capturing the video clip as soon as it is available and building social media strategies around that placement. Who we are: Michael Kaliski, Founder/CEO Michael has been in the Entertainment Industry for 20 years and in that time has developed and maintained numerous relationships with producers, directors and writers who will undoubtedly be attracted to GPI’s services. He has also been involved with environmental and humanitarian causes for as long as he’s been in the media business and as a result has maintained strong relationships to sustainable companies that are aware of his long standing dedication to promoting conscious living. Ina Shumaker, VP of Brand Integration, Production Sustainability Supervisor With experience spanning over 25 years in the Product Placement and Brand Integration Business, Ina has an unrivaled track record. She has developed deep, longstanding relationships with those involved in placing brands. From the executives to the prop masters and set designers, Ina brings a personal touch to every relationship.
