2024 Dodge Charger Daytona

The 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona was the most revolutionary car made by the American automaker in the last half a century, and it was available in three- or five-door configurations.

Mixing the muscle car glory with the electric revolution seemed to be unheard of when Dodge unveiled the Charger Daytona in the spring of 2024 in Michigan. However, unlike other car manufacturers, the American brand created something different. While the overall shape of the vehicle retained some of the legendary shapes of the 1966 Charger, it also sported some new features that belonged to the EV revolution. Furthermore, the car manufacturer looked to be more concerned about the design and performance than the energy efficiency. In the four-door configuration, the 2025 Charger Daytona continued the seventh generation of this nameplate built between 2011 and 2023.

Up front, the car boasted a rectangular fascia adorned by narrow, mean LED headlights. A light stripe for the daytime running lights underlined it. Below, on the bumper, the automaker installed a broad lower grille and a set of vertical slats that flanked it. Furthermore, depending on the version, the car also featured a lip spoiler at the bottom of the apron. However, the most intriguing element of the 2025 Dodge Charger’s front fascia was the spoiler placed above the grille, with a tall gap in front of it. Thus, the automaker created an aerodynamic element that added downforce without spoiling the car’s look.

From its profile, the 2025 Charger Daytona sedan resembled its predecessor but lost the coke-bottle-styled rear fenders. Still, it featured an ascending waistline that slightly descended after the rear wheels toward the short deck behind. The large 20-inch light-alloy wheels allowed bystanders to see the large disc brakes fitted with red calipers. Dodge created a greenhouse with a sloped-down rear end to complete the vehicle's sporty look. Furthermore, it was a hatchback, not a sedan. And that was the second intriguing part of the 2025 Charger Daytona four-door. Five, actually.

Inside, the modern interior welcomed its guests with bolstered bucket seats at the front and a bench seat in the back. The dashboard boasted a high technological level, with a wide LCD fronting the driver that showed the vehicle’s speed, charging status, and other pieces of information. In addition, atop the center stack, the automaker installed a touchscreen for the Uconnect 5 infotainment system that allowed Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity.

The drivetrain consisted of two electric motors, one for the front and one for the rear axle. Dodge made the Charger Daytona EV based on the Stellantis’ large vehicle architecture platform and featured an impressively sized battery pack in the car’s floor. Initially, Dodge offered the Charger Daytona exclusively as an EV with an option for two power outputs.
