How can #COVIDgrants and #reliefprograms impact 2021 business taxes? Armine Alajian, a certified public accountant at the Alajian Group was quoted in NerdWallet to answer, specifically in the case of economic injury disaster loans.

“EIDL loans are pure loans paid in 30 years at 3.75% interest. This is not taxable because it's not income, it's a loan to pay back,” Alaijan stated. “The payments are not tax-deductible either.”

Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani, president of West Coast Trial Lawyers, spoke to Fox News to comment on 'Real Housewives' star #JenShah, who is facing multiple counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. "To the extent that Shah makes statements on the ‘Real Housewives’ those can come in," Rahmani noted. "It doesn't matter that it was on a reality TV show or any TV show or it was given to Homeland Security Investigations' agents or some other third party. Those can come in. All 3 Cops Who Watched George Floyd Get Murdered Were Just Found Guilty

Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor and the current president of West Coast Trial Lawyers, told VICE News that the guilty verdicts in the federal case against the three former Minneapolis police officers who watched #DerekChauvin murder #GeorgeFloyd, Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng, and Thomas Lane, will have a tremendous impact on if the state trial, which is currently scheduled for June, against the three men will move forward at all.

“Sentences in federal court tend to be longer," Rahmani said. “The question for state prosecutors is, is it worth retrying all of them in state court, and if so what would be the purpose when all of the evidence is essentially the same.”

LA County District Attorney #GeorgeGascón wants a judge to vacate the death sentence of Scott Forrest Collins, who robbed and shot a 41-year-old father of three in January 1992.
