Just when we were lamenting the disappearance of great structure in rock music as well as virtuoso guitar, Abraham Parker emerges from his many duties as underground music hero and recording ace to many to release his own music starting with this single, “Goodnight.”

This song has sophisticated and edgy lyrics set against an impossibly complex hard guitar riff. His voice is soft and legato and ironic in this scenario as he tells the story. At the very end, he decides to unleash the rock dogs—you’re left wanting so much more but also knowing you have just heard a powerful new voice in rock/pop music.

The trio of artists that is The Refugees emerged on the music scene as a verifiably unmatched force of talent, diversity, and experience. Each successful in their own right as a solo artist, Cidny Bullens, Deborah

musicianship, and unforgettably humorous stage presence.

the Police and virtuoso jazz-bassist Stanley Clarke). Deborah has released multiple solo albums, including her newest–the stunning Vancouver in 2013. She has scored and written dozens of songs for film
