Hello Friends,
Thanks to your generosity, I hit my GoFundMe goal of $5000 today. Thanks to your heartfelt donations and words of encouragement, I can breathe a little easier. I'm now able to afford my knee surgery, co-pays, physical therapy costs, and unpaid time off work. Your support really means a lot. In 2018, young Americans who work 5 to 6 days a week and have medical insurance should be able to afford their medical bills. We have one of the most expensive healthcare systems in the world and we are being ripped off. Please fight for single payer healthcare so we don't have to privately fundraise and crowdfund every time one of our friends or family members needs an prohibitively expensive medical procedure. This is not normal, so let's not allow it to become normal. Let's work together and fight for Universal Coverage, Medicare For All, because healthcare isn't a privilege, it's a basic human right.
